Hello, everyone! Welcome to our latest attempt at blogging about our adventures. This blog will pretty much be written by me, Angel, going forward. John tried to manage this previously but it kept getting shoved aside and forgotten due to his work schedule during the week and all of the crazy things we get into on the weekends. Since I am a jobless hippie (who is quickly running out of shows and movies to watch), I decided to take over (John is making me). Because we have been on the road since late October but have only made a few posts, I will be working overtime to get us caught back up. I know it will be a little confusing at first but I am going to be trying to make two posts per week – one about our current travels written “live” by me each week and one “catchup” post about our adventures up to this point which will be me going back through old social media posts and trying to remember what the hell we were doing at the time – until we are all caught up. Please be sure to reach out with any questions that you want answered about our lifestyle or our adventures and I will try my best to address them.
Please keep in mind that I am NOT a professional writer and I tend to talk A LOT so it may take me a while to get used to doing this so please hang in there with me. I am currently working on my first actual post which should be up in a few days (if the internet cooperates) but please know that if you are going to read this blog there will be lots of posts about food, pets, and travel! I am not used to writing for other people so I am just going to use this as a record of what we are doing – more or less for us to reflect on in the future- and will probably write like I speak and think. Nothing fancy but hopefully you will be entertained as well.
For those of you that don’t know me – I am Angel and I make up one half of the Tiny House Travelers. I’m a little bit weird (which I consider to be a positive quality) and you will probably see that for yourself from my posts. I LOVE travel (obviously), animals, and reading. My background is all over the place – I have worked for a large bank doing disputes and fraud claims, for a credit card company doing collections, in the food service industry, as a leasing agent for an apartment complex, as a receptionist for a vet clinic, former owner of a bookstore, and as a customer service rep for a zoo. I have a two year degree in Forensic Science that I don’t use for anything aside from disagreeing with crime shows. I absolutely love learning new things and traveling around the country definitely provides opportunities for that.
Again, John and I thank you for coming along on this journey with us and hope that you enjoy what you read here! Until next time!
